Library

Welcome to the Collaborative Connections Counselling Library. This library page provides a space for us to upload articles and texts that relate to our approaches to counselling. These documents, many of which are based on academic studies, demonstrate the efficacy of these approaches. Eye movement therapies were first developed as a way to help people heal from trauma; they are now applied to treating depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and phobias just to name some.

Integrative therapy is an approach to counselling that requires counsellors to adapt to the needs of the people they are working with. It maintains that one size does not fit all. Impact Therapy, draws upon other approaches, and because of this is integrative in its use of interventions; it is also a very creative approach.
